It’s a little short, but that’s because I didn’t use an air hammer with it, which is what it was intended for. A worn-out sprocket bushing on a cd4e transmission was removed with this tool, which I found useful. With this bushing splitter and the 1.5lb hammer, it only took a couple of minutes to cleanly split the bushing. Despite the fact that the tip was and continues to be sharp, it did not gouge the metal under the bushing. The busing was peeled away from the tool as it was being split, ensuring that it did not get in the way of the splitting process. There are no flat spots or gouges visible on either the tip or the end I was smacking.
