I needed to separate the base tiles in a 3′ x 5′ shower stall in order to replace the floor tiles without causing damage to the surrounding wall tiles. I installed the blade in the Milwaukee backwards so that the trigger and cord were not in the way. Leaning against the wall, I managed to cut through approximately 9–12 tiles before the carbide grit ran out of power. It’s not an easy task. Despite my firm grip with both hands, it is still a taxing job, despite the fact that my hands are strong. I couldn’t have done it without these blades; it took me two attempts, but I was hoping it would be a little less difficult this time. Tile is simply a tough material.
