A wrench is a standard tool in the 2235TiMAX style.

The Ingersoll Rand 2235TiMAX 1/2-Inch Drive Air Impact Wrench has the best power-to-weight ratio of any impact wrench on the market. It’s built to handle even the toughest bolts. Powered by 1,350 foot-pounds of torque, this powerful, durable impact wrench is small and light. It only weighs 4.6 pounds, so you can work for a long time without getting tired. The four-position power regulator and one-handed forward and reverse push button give you the control and versatility you need to do a wide range of jobs in both the automotive and industrial sectors. And thanks to its titanium hammer case and strong composite housing, this impact wrench can work in even the most difficult places, from garages to factories and factories. Every part, mechanism, and function of this tool has been thoroughly tested to make sure it performs at its best, and it comes with a guarantee.

Start with what I like. In the first place, it’s a lot lighter than an all-metal impact like the IR 231 C. It’s still very durable. The plastic buttons and knobs on the back of the phone still fit together well, even though I have dropped it from five feet many times. There are only a few scratches. It’s also very powerful, as everyone else has said. And even though the unmuffled version is a little louder than your average impact, it’s not too loud.

Another good thing about the trigger control is that it is very easy to use. It doesn’t have a light switch like my old Aircat, which is good when you want to run screws down more slowly. The direction change buttons are easy to use and very strong for being made of plastic. The knob on the back is also very useful when you need to cut back on the power in low-torque jobs. Because it has solid detents, you can’t accidentally change the power level with it by accident.

However, this tool has a lot of problems with how it looks and works. When I pull the trigger, the left direction change button will dig into my hand at the base of my thumb. This has caused a very visible blister and a lot of pain, especially when I use a torque stick.

Further, the plastic body, which makes it lighter, has thrown the balance off a lot, even though it makes it lighter. With no sockets at all, the tool is very front-heavy because the hammers and metal housing are at the front of it, which makes it feel that way. Worse, if you put a deep socket or torque stick on the front, it’s very unbalanced and hard to hold for even a short time.

When you work in a shop all day, this front-heavy, blister-inducing beast will get old pretty quickly. The job is already hard on your body. If you have the chance, I think you should try this gun out before you buy it. It’s possible that you won’t have the same problems as I did.

If you get one for cheap, it’s not worth the extra strain on your wrist. A better-balanced camera will be on my list of things to buy in the future, and I’ll use my 2235ti only a few times at home, as a backup.
