Take care not to make the same mistake that I did and try to run this through my 1/4-inch air hose. I almost sent this back because I thought it was completely pointless. After reading that I could be starving the tool, I decided to use a 3/8 air hose to see if it would work. I was sure that I was starving the tool with a 1/4-inch hose at the time. It took me about 30 feet to connect the 3/8 hose and set the air pressure to 90 psi. BAM. The beast woke up. It took the lug nuts off with ease. I think this tool is great and I’m going to keep it. I’m not a professional, but I’m a fan of DIY projects.

A 12 gallon air compressor that runs at 90 psi pumps out 4 cfm at 90 psi for reference.
