It is possible to apply up to 1 ton of force with the Dake X model single leverage arbor press with solid plate in order to facilitate the installation, removal, and pressing of items. The handle can be placed in a variety of positions to provide a comfortable grip or to maximize leverage. The ram cap can be adjusted with the 0.008″- and 0.015″-thick shims that are included to move the ram forward and backward as well as to compensate for wear and tear. The set screw is used to adjust the ram’s sideways movement. Fine control over ram movement is possible with the lever thanks to the smooth action gears, and the solid base and table provide complete support for the object being pressed by the lever. Two holes with a diameter of 0.39″ are located on the base to allow for bench mounting. The hardware for mounting is not included. The press is ready to go.

Using a levered ram, arbor presses exert high-pressure force on objects. Arbor presses are operated by the user’s hand. Arbor presses are commonly used for a variety of tasks such as installing and removing components such as arbors, bearings, and rivets, as well as compressing an item.

Arbor presses, hydraulic presses, drill presses, power hammers, band and cold saws, belt grinders, tube benders, and auto feed systems are among the products manufactured by Dake Machine Tools. The company was established in 1887 and has its headquarters in Grand Haven, Michigan.

I purchased this product three and a half years ago and use it to emboss mint tin lids for games and other purposes. A three-foot cheater bar is what I use to press more than 5,000 lids in one day. This press is still as tight as it was on the first day of operation. There is absolutely no wobble in the ram, and it is a pleasure to use.
