I wish I had looked at your video before I bought the DeWALT DCK940D2 20V MAX Lithium Ion 9-Tool Combo Kit because I think it would have been better.
I made a few assumptions about this kit, and they came back to bite me in the a**.
This was my mistake.
It’s a few things:
A radio that doesn’t charge tool batteries: (DCR006) (HUGE let down).
Also, it doesn’t sound very good, but having Bluetooth is a good thing.
Circle saw: (DCS393)
Though the shoes aren’t flimsy, I’m worried about how they’ll hold up when I drop them and how they’ll fit in the tool bags that come with them.
My DC390 has a shoe made of magnesium, which is better for my feet.
It also doesn’t come with a rip guide, which is a small thing, but still.

The impact driver is good, but I think my 18v I.D. (DC825B) has more power than it does.

Drill/driver:
I knew the drill/driver came with the kit, which isn’t great, but I had hoped it would be better than a mid-tier “honey-do” weekend drill.
A hammer drill would have made this kit much better.

Worklight: I use a headlamp or a tactical flashlight that’s a little bigger than a AAA battery anyway.

I like that the quick-change wheel nut and better-placed spindle lock button make it easier to change the wheel and keep the blade in place.
Construction also feels good about the deal.
If there is an outlet, I’ll keep using my DW402.
This is the right angle drill/driver: (DCD740).
I don’t use this very often, but this thing has helped me in a pinch.
FEIN Multimaster 250 Start FMM250: I have been using it for some time and it’s fine, but if you don’t pay attention to the blade release lever’s “snap back,” your fingers will get a little snagged.
There is a quick-release lever on the DeWalt DCS355 that I love because it is so easy to use.
Love that it seems to work with any kind of blade so far.

I don’t think there’s much difference between this saw and my DC385.
I’m not sure how I feel about the DCK940D2 kit, but I’m leaning more toward not liking it.
The circular saw shoe, the drill/driver, the awkward work light, and the fact that the radio doesn’t charge tool batteries make this kit seem a little cheap.
My choice now would have been the DCK694P2 kit and the right-angle drill/driver on its own.
In my opinion, they should have taken out the worklight, drill/driver, and radio. Instead of that, I would have been happier with a hammer drill or a dual charger.
