Because I had to work, I’m a little late with this review. After opening the box, I tried this product out and it started to break down right away. None of the moving parts could move freely. This is how I was running the polisher on my compressor. It was running at about 125psi. I thought my thread sealer might have messed it up, so I decided to open it up and clean it up on my own. didn’t want to be the person who had to return something because of something I did.
I started to find metal shavings after I took apart the polisher, so I had to throw it away. The rotating parts had metal shavings stuck to them, which made it hard for the device to rotate. Isn’t clear what caused this, but it’s possible shavings from the manufacturing process accumulated and made parts that were not sterile when they were put together.
None the less, I was able to get it back together and it works now. After I finish my New Year’s paint restoration, I can write more about what I’ve been up to.
