Engraving with a CNC machin. The 3018pro-M has an engraving area of 300 x 180 x 45 mm, which is enough space for most projects. GRBL is the control software. The spindle has a motor of 775. (12-36V. In this case, 24V: 10,000 r / min. Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 are all supported.

It is called a 7000mW Module.

An engraving machine with high power and long-term availability. A pair of safety goggles will keep your eyes safe when you use lasergrbl to engrave pictures.

DO NOT need to connect the computer to the controller. Manually move the X, Y, and Z axis to where you want the engraving to start. Manually open or close the spindle, and manually open or close the cooling fan. Note: Please don’t use both the computer and the Offline Controller at the same time. This will stop communication.

It has a lot of uses.

This is good for carving soft metal like copper and aluminum. It can’t cut hard metal like jade or stone.

It’s so bad that I can’t give this a real five-star review. Most Chinese-made products don’t live up to my high expectations. But this router was very different in many ways, except for one very important thing. There are only two things that I don’t like about this book. They’re bad enough to make my rating go all the way down to 3 stars.

The chassis is made of Bakelite, or something that looks like Bakelite. It is very strong and doesn’t bend or break even when the screws that hold it together are tightened against them. It’s easy to see that all the holes are in the right place and that every angle is right. When it’s on a level surface, it doesn’t move at all. The weight of the material is enough to make sure there is no vibration when it’s in use. I can say for sure that the parts were made very well.

The parts made of aluminum and steel are of very high quality and grade, and they are very durable. They even have high-quality screws and bolts. They look and work great. They don’t stretch or twist when they’re turned, and all surfaces are smooth and free of imperfections. The rails don’t bend, even when they’re being pushed.

The spindle motor is very well balanced and there are no vibrations at all. It is also well-ventilated, so even after running it at full speed for a long time, it doesn’t get hot. There is no “chatter” when the rotor bearings are under a lot of stress.

Still, the stepper motors haven’t been proven to be good. It’s been a while, but so far, they haven’t lost their precision. Just like the spindle, they have tight tolerances and smooth operation. They aren’t very powerful, but that’s a good thing because there aren’t any limits. But the spindle can handle more than the steppers can.

Other than the chassis, the tray is what I think is the best thing about it. It is completely stable and safe even at its corners. It stands up very well to the force of the Z axis and the spindle, which move it. Because the rail bearings don’t move, they don’t move at all, and the Y moves very smoothly. It’s made of high-quality aluminum, like the rest of the metal parts. When it’s checked against a machinist’s block, the surface is flat and level, just like the rest of the metal. It is aluminum, not hardened steel, so I would recommend using electrical tape on the clamps that come with the tray to keep the surface from getting scratched.

For my flaws, now. These are truly a shame. This product should get a much higher rating, especially because it was made in China. It’s clear that someone did a lot of work to break the bad-quality stigma, and there were two areas where those people were let down.

1: The screw on the X axis had been bent backward. So bad, in fact, that the coupler’s set screws kept coming loose. Every last bit of precision the machine was meant to have is gone because of this one flaw. It was not good enough, so I bought a new screw from a local foundry.

The bearings on the Z axis rail weren’t as good as the bearings on the other parts of the machine. The kids played and talked a lot. Again, this was not acceptable, and it led to a loss of precision on anything stronger than soft wood. My local industrial supply store has a lot of Timken bearings, and they were able to find a good replacement.

With the problems above fixed, I now have a very good desktop router. In every way, this one is better than the reviews of other models.
