Using this buffer/polisher, you can create a refined appearance by buffing or polishing aluminum, jewelry, chrome, metal parts, or plastic parts to a high shine. This buffer/polisher is equipped with two replaceable and washable buffing pads/wheels, as well as a variable speed control that ranges from 2000 to 7000 rpm, allowing you to adjust your buffing at the speed that is most comfortable for you. Simply screw the pads directly onto the threaded mandrels and use a buffing wheel to remove any flaws or imperfections.
In contrast to the model pictured, the polishing machine I received was marked “Made in China” on the front with a large, bold lettering design. However, aside from that, which is a minor flaw, the speed control failed within the first hour of operation, and the machine now only runs at a high speed. The polishing wheels that were included quickly lost enough material to become noticeably out of balance, resulting in enough vibration to “walk” any object that was placed on the same counter as the polishing wheels. When used at high speed to polish small flute keys, it became noticeably sluggish, even when only a light touch was applied.
I recommend that you look elsewhere.
