Start out strong, and finish strong. In this video, we show you how to use the BLACK+DECKER MOUSE 20V MAX* cordless sheet sander. You can use it to finish any project you have in mind or to do some DIY work around your home. At 12,000 opm, this powerful power sander removes material. With a detail finger attachment, you can even sand hard-to-reach places. It’s small and easy to hold, and it has a two-position grip that improves your control and stability and reduces muscle fatigue. Sandpaper can be changed quickly thanks to an easy hook and loop system. The on-board dust bag can be removed and emptied in a matter of seconds, making cleanup a piece of cake. It runs on a 20V MAX* lithium ion battery that can stay charged for up to 18 months. 20 volts is the maximum voltage of the battery when it’s not being used. It should be 18 volts at this point in time.

To get the extra battery for my other tools, I bought this sander. It was cheap enough to get the sander for free when compared to the battery alone, so I bought it. I think I’ll use it a lot now that I have it.

My first impressions are good so far. The unit is small and light, but it still feels strong enough for the job. It looks good for a cheap tool. No, that’s not true. This comes with a very small battery, so it won’t be able to run for very long between charges. The way I use it isn’t that important to me.

My two biggest gripes are design flaws. The whole point of a detail sander is that it is small and quick. There is a lot more space in this unit because of where the battery is (most you hold from the top right about the sanding head). This isn’t a bad thing by any means, but I think I’d rather have the smaller one for some situations where space is tight. The second thing is that the dust port and the battery are too close to each other. I think it’s more difficult to use with a vacuum because it doesn’t have a cord.

On the bright side, this sander is often on sale on Amazon, making it very cheap. People who own a home will be happy with the unit, but since it’s used for small things, it shouldn’t be used too much. This seemed like a good time to buy the cheaper tool and save the money for something else. Over all, I’ve been pleased with it.
