Because of the lengthy delivery time, I was extremely dissatisfied with this new tool when it finally arrived in the mail. First and foremost, I assumed there was something else in the package because it weighed so much; however, I was mistaken; it contained only the ratchet mechanism. When compared to my previous ratchet, this one is extremely heavy. The next issue I encountered was that there was no air fitting included in the box, so I had to remove one from one of my other air tools in order to give the ratchet a test run. In the past, all of the air tools that I have purchased have come with a fitting in the package. Upon obtaining the ability to use the ratchet, however, I was dissatisfied with the directional locking, which didn’t appear to have a positive lock. The edges around the ratchet head are extremely sharp, as a result of the lack of a secondary machining step to deburr or machine the sharp edge during production.
