There are no swirls or bumps on the surface when it is used in a high-production industrial setting. 3M’s Clean Sanding System removes dust from the workpiece and the area around it, which makes sanding easier. The sander uses the air that comes in to make its own venturi vacuum. This vacuum picks up dust and sends it out through a wide port into the included HEPA-rated 3M Clean Sanding Filter Bag. An air filter inside the bag keeps dust out and makes it easier to get rid of it. 3M Pneumatic Vacuum Orbital Sanders are designed to make 3M abrasives work better. They have speed control and a low-profile, balanced design that makes them easy to use. With a 3/16″ orbit, you can get a moderate cut rate and good finish on metal, composites, wood, and more. It is part of the 3M Clean Sanding System, which is made up of the SGV tool, a Clean Sanding disc pad, and a Clean Sanding disc. Together, these parts are designed to effectively remove dust from the workpiece and the surrounding area. The SGV sander uses the air that comes in to make its own venturi vacuum. This vacuum picks up dust from the work surface and sends it through a wide port on the back of the tool into a filter bag. The 3M Clean Sanding Filter Bag that comes with the tool does a great job of collecting dust because it has an air filter inside the bag that traps the dust and makes it easy to get rid of.

3M SGV sanders work best when they’re used with 3M disc pads and abrasives, which are made by 3M. The disc pads are made to work with these tools in order to get the most dust out and keep vibrations to a minimum. A corded or cordless sander I’ve used before isn’t as good as this one, but I still like it. You need a big air compressor if you don’t already have one, so you need to buy one. The bag that comes with it does a great job. So far, I’m very pleased. If it lasts, I’m happy.
