The angle grinder has a 7.5 amp AC/DC, 12,000 rpm motor that can remove more material faster and protects against overheating.

The One-Touch Guard on the metal grinder lets you change the guard with just one move. It doesn’t have buttons or levers. You just turn the guard to move it in any way that you want it to be.

Most tool boxes have a hex wrench that can be used to change the angle grinder’s spanner wrench, so it can be used instead.

Gear in a low-profile, jam-pot case is more durable and can be used in small places.

Quick-Change wheel release lets you remove a wheel without having to use a wrench.

The two-position removable side handle is more comfortable and easier to use.

The slim, ergonomic body design makes it easier to use for a long time.

In this tool, the DWE4012 4-1/2-inch (115 mm) Paddle Switch Small Angle Grinder Tool has a powerful 7-amp motor that makes it easy to get rid of material. One-Touch Guard on the 4 1/2 grinder doesn’t need a tool to move the guard.

I need some more 4-inch grinders. I have an old Milwaukee that I trust, but the spindle lock is breaking. I’m tired of having to change disks in the middle of a job to use them for different things. In the end, I went with the DWE4012. I like DeWalt products, the price was right, and I wanted a flapper switch instead of a lock on switch like my Milwaukee, so I went with that. Not at all. I have my share of Milwaukee tools and am very happy with them. I’m not going to say bad things about Milwaukee in any way. Anyway, I’m very happy with this grinder, and especially with the flapper switch that makes it work. MUCH more safe than any lock button. Grinder stories are scary for anyone who’s used them for any length of time. The 7-9 inch grinders are the most dangerous because there is so much torque. The 4 inch grinders can be just as dangerous because there is so much torque. You don’t have to worry about the safety of the switch at all. Just get used to how you swipe your hand. After a while, it might start to stick and get clogged up. If that happens, you can get it moving again with Kroil and a few shots of air.

Someone said that a spanner wrench didn’t come with the tool and only an allen wrench did. But I think the allen wrench is better than the spanner wrench any day of the week. It gives you a lot more power to loosen. None of the disks you put on need to be tightened before you put them on. It’s easy to tighten your hand with a gloved hand and then you can go. If it makes you feel better to use the wrench, just tap it with the heel of your hand. This will happen because of the rotation of the grinder and friction. In my opinion, the allen wrench method is better than the spanner wrench method. It puts the spanner wrenches where they belong, on the back porch.
