To start off my review, I’ll say that I’m not a professional woodworker and I’ll be honest about that.
I don’t know anything about wood or how to cut it.
I’m afraid of blades that move quickly.
I prefer to cut things with a handsaw, stopping to think about why I’m doing what I’m doing at the time.
It’s not very common for me to work on big projects, but I do sometimes say things like, “I’m not sure if I measured that.”
It’s time for the Black & Decker Jig Saw to show up now.
This small tool helps me get over some of the fear I have when I use a circular saw at the same time.
I recently used it to cut holes in a cabinet so I could put in small exhaust fans and temperature sensors.
It’s really not that hard to use this little saw.
It also made quick work of cutting through a few 2×12’s that I thought were bigger than they were.
Only thing I’d tell you is to be aware of how much sawdust it can make if you use it inside.
In the basement, sawdust was all over the carpet. My wife didn’t like it at all.
