Air compressor that is built to last. It is legal to use a duty cycle of 100 percent. A clerical error exists in the product description: while the “Outlet” is indeed 1/8 inch FNPT, the “Inlet” is not. There are two “Outlets,” both of which are 1/8 inch FNPT, and one “Inlet,” which is a disc-shaped piece of felt (visible in the picture) that is used to filter incoming air before it is released. This, in my opinion, is insufficient for high volume or long-term use. As a result, the end-plate on the crankcase can be drilled and tapped to provide whatever size inlet is required for attaching an in-line filter, ensuring proper air filtration, and preventing piston/cylinder damage. Due to the fact that this is an OEM device, consideration must be given to a pressure switch, start-stop controls, intake and discharge air filtration, isolation mounts, and other features. ONLY THE MOTOR (which is thermally protected) is included with the WOB-L Piston / Cylinder Air Compressor, which is equipped with a single reed style valve on the head.
