I have two little metabos, one has a slide switch in the traditional side position for right handers, the other one has the switch on top in the middle, I love using the slide side switch machine but always have problems with the centre switch machine. It is more of a switch which wants to be off than on it’s not a slide but a half clicky / rockey thing, I find I’m always knocking the switch and it turns itself off, don’t have the problem with the side slide switch, it slides on and stays on until you turn it off.
