Because I work at a place where old Corian type counter tops are still in use, I’m using these discs to fix them. People who work for me at a theater have many old concession stands, drink and bathroom sink counters, and other things from that era. These surfaces are very easy to scratch and mark up with normal use, and they need to be cleaned up often. I’ve tried a lot of different sandpapers and other things, but these discs do a better job. It’s faster and better. Depending on how the machine is set up, this may or may not be true for other operators. I would say that myself, but this may not be true for other machine operators. I’m fine with that, too. To get a high gloss, I think I’d have to use a liquid polish, a buffing pad, and so on to finish the job. But I like the satin finish better.
