This set is good, but the reviews almost made me not want to buy it. That’s sad, because this set is good.
You should buy this set of tools because your wife and I have a place outside of town. I didn’t like having to take my real tools with me on a plane or in the car.
I used to work in construction to pay for school before I became a computer geek. I know how to use a real Dewalt set and a corded Milwaukee Hole Hawg right-angle drill to drill through studs before I do a rough inspection of a wall.

If you buy this set, don’t buy the drill bits. Three of them have broken off in studs for me in two weeks. The first one broke when I used it.
If you need to drill some holes in studs and want to have a set, don’t buy this. You don’t need it.
They aren’t much better, but at least they haven’t broken on me. The wedge bits are just “fine.”
The screwdrivers are way too big and kind of stupid for everyday use. They’re closer to “Fisher Price screw size” than anything you’ll ever use in real life, which is why they’re so big and stupid.

The ratcheting screwdriver has been great, and the pliers, hammer, bit shank, and tips for the shank are all great. On the other hand, everything else is good enough for a home tool set.
To be fair, it doesn’t have a collar to hold the screws.

The drill itself is good enough.
Again, you’re not going to be drilling into concrete or installing a whole wall with this tool. But if you’re hanging pictures, a few TVs, or screwing together some cabinets, this tool will work just fine for you.
It’s light, but strong enough and functional without being too much for the job.
Overdo it with this thing, and you’ll have to get rid of it, so be careful.
Avoid being a hero.

People who remember the price they paid are happy.

The flathead and phillips screwdrivers (not the ratcheting one that can use any tip with the shank) are too big to use for normal-sized screws.
Make sure you use the ratcheting screwdriver and the shank with a tip to get every screwdriver you need.
The drill bits aren’t good.
When you buy this, just throw them away. I broke two in a stud right away, and it kind of messed up a project, no pun intended.

A few things I like about this tool: It’s light and easy to use. It has a 20V B&D family, which I’m thinking about getting for our vacation house. It has a good screwdriver, a lot of tips, and a small tape measure that I like better than the big one I used to have. The bag is small but very usable, and it fits everything perfectly.
The hammer is light (my wife likes it, the same thing). It works well.

Is this the right person for you?
After a move, divorce, or breakup where you left your tools with your ex and you need to get your house back in order. You know the limitations of a “home” tool set, and you know you’ll buy the things that don’t work or break later.

Less than ideal customer?
To start your apprenticeship as an electrician next week, you think you’re getting a great drill and tool set for a bargain. You might be wrong.
Move on, spend some more money.
Do not buy this set if you want to do a lot of DIY at home and think you’re getting an amazing deal on a high-end set.
A big tool fan who wants the most up-to-date tools on the market isn’t me.

People who left bad reviews?
My best guess is that these people were either former or current pros who were looking for a cheap all-in-one kit.
This set will help you do everything you want to do at home for not too much money.
In my review, I said “home.” If you saw that and thought, “Well, maybe this will be enough.” You should look somewhere else.
If you saw “home” and thought, “Great, my “X” just broke, so I’ll get this to replace it.” You should look somewhere else.
The word “home” made you think about how you have an apartment and hang pictures and mount shelves from time to time. If you want to put some IKEA furniture together, do it here.
