INSTRUCTIONS.
Attach the rubber backer to the variable speed angular hand grinder with a hex wrench.
Attach the Velcro loop side of the polishing pad to the Velcro loop side of the backer so that they form a tight bond.
Check to see that the pad is centered on the backer pad before proceeding. If the polishing pad is not centered properly, it will reduce the life of the polishing pad.
WHEN IT COMES TO THE BEST RESULTS AND YOUR SAFETY.
When operating the grinder, it is recommended that you wear protective eyewear and gloves. When you are operating, you should also add a small amount of water to the surface.
These were purchased for the purpose of sanding a concrete countertop. They performed admirably up to and including 3000 grit. Because the 3000 grit pad was unevenly distributed across the surface, it scratched into the paint. Once I realized that the problem was with the pd and that it needed to be sanded down to 1500 grit, I stopped. The other discs, on the other hand, performed admirably.
