It worked well for polishing travertine, but it does tend to get warm, not hot, but close to it, when in heavy use, which is not ideal. It’s a really good size. The price was extremely reasonable, and the pads that were provided were of high quality. With the diamond disc, you can sharpen a knife to a razor’s edge in seconds, but proceed with caution.
