The Foredome 5200 Series SR combines the best and most important features in a flexible shaft tool, and it does so with even more power. It has all of the best features, plus even more power. Mor. 1/6 hp in terms of powe. Reversible – a wonderful feature for left-handed users, as well as for right-handed users. Two-year manufacturer’s warranty ensures dependability. There are 26 pieces in total, including the SCT foot control, the No.44T handpiece with 3/32″, 1/8,” and 1/4″ collets, the No.28 handpiece with 1/8,” and 3/32,” collets, safety glasses, and a woodcarvers professional accessory kit. There are several different types of ceramic sanding bands and discs, including purple ceramic sanding bands and discs, V stones, ScotchBrite radial bristle discs, Typhoon carbide burrs, CeramCut blue stones, and a rotating bur and bit holder with a lid. 0 to 18,000 revolutions per minute.
Foredom appears to be an authentic version. The included accessories are largely inconsequential, with the exception of two carbide burrs, which serve a useful purpose. I’ve been able to significantly reduce the amount of dust. The foot control is robust and effective, with the exception of the fact that it could use a couple of extra feet of cord. Because the holes in the rotating tray must be staggered in order to accommodate a variety of tool sizes, the rotating tray could just as well have been designed by a committee.
