So, after conducting extensive research (including watching YouTube videos) and browsing developer websites, I decided to go with this CNC. The price of 500 dollars was the main selling point, primarily because the developers’ philosophy was to “make affordable and accessible CNC to everyone.” If you know how to cut and screw wood together, you can build this. The instructions for updating drives and software were straightforward and easy to understand. (It’s less complicated than setting up a printer. It’s been a really enjoyable experience; I feel like I’ve discovered a new Pokemon that has a lot of potential to grow into. However, I am currently out of plywood, and as a result of COVID-19, I am restricting my trips to the local hardware store.
