I bought this to replace a crappy Harbor Freight special that I had previously purchased. I have to admit that this sliced through 1/4 inch steel very quickly and efficiently. The presence of binding of any kind is minimal to non-existent. I have the impression that I could cot through anything with this. The tilt head is the cherry on top of an already excellent tool.
