Begin with the positive aspects of the situation. A small starter set of sockets is included, as well as two rechargeable batteries, an attractive carrying case, and a powerful drill.
Then there’s the bad. In addition to being extremely noisy, it also vibrates a great deal and does not have a variable speed trigger. If there was a variable speed trigger, I would be willing to overlook the first two issues. However, there isn’t, and the fact that it is so powerful makes this tool seem like a bull in a china shop, which is exactly what it is. There is only one speed available – full speed. That means you’re almost certainly going to cause some serious damage at some point. This should not be used for Ikea furniture.
If there are any other power ratchet wrenches available at this price point that have variable speed triggers, I would not recommend purchasing one that does not have variable speed triggers. Especially one wielding this much authority. I’d be willing to give up some of that power in exchange for greater control over the tool. I’ll have to be very picky about which projects I use this on in the future, though.
