Okay, I just spent 45 minutes trying to locate the elusive hole where the charger plugs into the battery and then into an electrical outlet. IT DOESN’T APPEAR ON THE DRILL. First, remove the battery from the body, which is nearly impossible to remove. The hole is on the battery itself, and you won’t be able to see it if the battery is already in the drill. The defect is minute and will only be noticed if you examine the battery closely.

All of my other drills were fully charged, with the battery in the drill and the hole to connect to the charger located on the body handle of the drill itself.

Once the battery has been inserted into the body, it is difficult to remove. You must apply STRONG downward pressure to the two ridged squares in order to loosen the battery from the handle.

Now that I’ve learned, I can put the drill to good use. Following the healing of my fingers from pushing the two ridged squares together to loosen the battery pack and remove it from the handle, I will finally be able to locate the hole to plug in the charger.

Whether it’s my drill or the fact that they’re all so excruciatingly painful, a better manual that had been copy edited by a native English speaker would have been beneficial in this case. And it would have been helpful if someone had explained where to charge the batter. I’m not going to buy another Jaer ever again. I’m hoping this thing will work.
