As a tire technician, I use this primarily for cleaning brake hubs, so I purchased it specifically for that purpose. Every day, I greased the gears with an ir air tool grease gun and oiled the gears before each use. I was able to complete about 10 cars total before the thing started blowing air out of the exhaust without spinning. It’s quiet, and it gets the job done when it’s working, but I’m hoping that one instance was just a fluke. When I receive a replacement, I’ll update the review to reflect how long it lasts in its current condition.
