I don’t write reviews very often, despite the fact that I buy a lot of stuff from Amazon. This, on the other hand, is a really bad problem. The fact that it comes with refurbished batteries is not mentioned or implied anywhere in this advertisement. You can tell they have been refurbished because the batteries have been marked with a number scribe mark. If you purchase them brand new, there will be no scribe marks or anything of the sort. There are two batteries included in this package, and when I opened the package, both were flashing green and red, indicating that they were dead batteries. After some fiddling, I was able to get one of them to charge, but the other is completely dead and will not accept a charge. In terms of this impact, the tool itself is excellent, but I would recommend that you look for it at your local Home Depot and purchase it there. If the batteries are defective, at the very least you can return them. Having to go through the Amazon return process is more of a hassle than I want to go through, so I guess it’s my fault/my loss.
