For mixing the cat food I make, I needed a mixing attachment for a 1/2″ drill, and I preferred stainless steel over plastic. The mixing paddle I had previously used was not stainless steel, and after being washed, it transferred some dark “stuff” from the blades into the food, which was not what I had hoped would happen. Every time I make the food, I mix approximately 90 pounds of raw food in a large tub, and this mixer performed flawlessly in this situation. It was very easy to get into the corners and edges of the tub without getting stuck because of the overall shape of the tub, which is extremely beneficial. The food was thoroughly mixed, and because the mixer was stainless steel, it was simple to clean, with no discoloration forming after washing.
