Using the vise, tighten the screw. The jaw was left hanging; the lead screw was retracted, but the vise did not open.
It was necessary to completely disassemble and clean the unit in order to remove grit and achieve smooth motion.
Incorrect alignment of collar on lead screw results in binding during each revolution.
It appears that only two of the three T-nut bolts are functional. A bolt that is approximately four times longer than the hole in the fixed jaw of the jaw crusher is required.
