The price of this product is both the best and worst thing about it. I purchased it because of the positive reviews and because it was significantly less expensive than most other options. During the process of mounting it on my grinder, I discovered that the attachment hardware was not well-designed. Three individual brackets must be set almost exactly the same way in order for the housing to be in the correct position. Take into consideration that only one bracket adjustment screw is accessible when the dust shield is in place. So take it off, adjust it, put it back on, and repeat.. When you’re finished, the final step is to secure everything with a hose clamp that wraps around all three brackets. During use, one of the three brackets became loose, but fortunately, it was the only one that could be accessed without disassembling the entire unit.

This was especially useful for grinding right up to the edge of the concrete where it meets the wall, which was accessible through a removable portion of the shield.

– At the end of the day, I was pleased with how well it performed and how reasonably priced it was. However, this is a one-time-use tool. If you will be using it for more than one project, you should invest more money in a better designed tool.

– The grinder wheel turned out to be the real gem. Despite grinding for four hours and collecting more than half of a five-gallon bucket’s worth of concrete dust, the wheel still has some life left in it. Better than I had anticipated. In the future, I will write another review about my experience with the dust collection system.
