This thing is a colossal monster. Despite the fact that it weighs nearly 15 pounds, it is a monster. It will not bog down or overheat, and it will cut through anything when used with the proper blade. It’s important to check the gear oil when you first get it; mine was a little low when I got it, and it appears to be a common problem with the factory. Use SAE 85w-140 gear oil; don’t spend a lot of money on oil; instead, get the Lucas, which is inexpensive and excellent. If you’re looking for a tough workhorse saw that can handle anything, you won’t go wrong with this model. It’s heavy, but hey, by using it, you’ll become stronger!
