Making a scratch-free finish without the use of hand sanding is possible with this method.
Initially, I was overjoyed because this DA appears to be extremely well constructed. In exchange for a $50 Chinese D.A. that had been lying around in my shop for years, I used this for a month and found it to be satisfactory. I was planning on sanding a car, so I figured it would be wise to spend the money on a high-quality sanding tool. After about 2 hours of use, the case began to leak, and oil began to spray out the sides. After about 4 hours of use, the case blew up completely. A 60 gallon DeWalt compressor and a filter/dryer were used to achieve the 90-95 PSI needed for the job.
The entire internal structure of this sander is made of pot metal and plastic from China.. I’m back to using my trusty $50 Chinese sander, which is still in good working order.
