This impact wrench is equipped with a quik-lok cord, a pin-detent system to securely retain sockets or adapters, and a variable speed reversing switch to provide greater control when drilling or driving lag bolts. This tool has an excellent power to weight ratio, producing 300 foot-pounds of torque while weighing only six pounds. At 1800 RPM, the powerful 7.0 amp motor drives a one-of-a-kind impact mechanism, which is unique in the industry (no load). The ergonomically shaped handle, combined with a soft cushioned grip, provides a well-balanced and controllable feel to the tool when used properly. It takes less time to achieve the desired installation torque with the special mechanism, and it takes less time to loosen bolts that are rusted or fretted. Only the tool is included in this price.

This firearm has a serious twist to it. Although many electric and battery-powered impact guns claim to be capable of 300 foot pounds of force, I have a hard time believing it on most of them. This is probably the best way to pull it off.

It’s a big, heavy, and cumbersome machine to maneuver around in tight spaces for auto work, but it hasn’t let me down yet. It has successfully removed numerous lug nuts, rusted 90-degree angle exhaust bolts, strut-top nuts while still attached to the truck, and axle nuts without incident (except for the exhaust bolts due to the angle).

Because the cord is a little short, I’ve permanently attached it to an extension cable that runs along the floor of my garage. I wish it were cordless at times, but I have my doubts that it would have the same amount of power if it weren’t corded.

If you can’t afford a full air compressor setup (with the CFM required to run a good impact wrench), this might be the kit for you. It includes everything you need to get started.

Considering the price, it would have been nice if it had come with a carrying case. I purchased a low-end Ryobi drill/impact kit for slightly more than half the price of this kit, and at the very least I received a soft case. This item is in desperate need of a proper plastic container.
