It combines five different types of ratchets into a single unit.
A zyklop ratchet with a 1/4″ drive is included. Because of the 72 finely pitched teeth, the ratchet has a very small return angle of only 5°, which makes it ideal for tight spaces. The ratchet head pivots freely and can be locked into any position by pressing the slide switch, which is located on either side of the ratchet head. With increased hand clearance, it is even possible to work in extremely confined and difficult-to-access areas. Using the predefined locking at 0°, 15°, and 90° to the left and right, it is possible to work safely without worrying about the ratchet head slipping. When the ratchet is in the 0° position, it can be used as a conventional screwdriver by attaching an adaptor and a bit to it. The use of a flywheel accelerates the screw driving process because of its design. The rotation-symmetric structure of the Kraftform handle, as well as the free-turning sleeve, contribute to the speed with which the twisting process occurs. The outstanding design of the Kraftform handle ensures that it fits perfectly into the hand, preventing injuries such as blisters and calluses from developing. The handle is made of hard materials, which allows for quick and easy hand repositioning without the risk of the skin becoming “stuck” to the handle. The low-loss transfer of high forces is made possible by the softer anti-slip zones. With ball lock, it is compatible with 14-inch square sockets as well as a 14-inch adaptor with square drive.
This is the second time I’ve purchased the same item. I had lost my first one, but I adored it so much that I couldn’t imagine my life without it. No matter how you hold it, it feels comfortable in your hand. Even though it locks into multiple positions, I would have it lock at certain angles on one side and other angles on the other, so that it could be used at a wider range of detent angles. That said, the current configuration is excellent and works perfectly. In addition, the 72-tooth ratchet operates flawlessly and is extremely durable.
