I wanted to write a review on this product because before I bought this impact, I saw people say different things about what it could do. It is clear that the torque claims aren’t true. If you buy a big-name torque wrench that costs $175-$250 and is this size and weight, it only makes about 250-300ft-lb. If it made at least 110ft-lb of torque, I was hoping to use it for taking off wheels that only need 100ft-lb of torque.
Because it didn’t work right out of the box, I couldn’t get my wheels off with a full charge on the battery. My 1/2 had to be sent in “I didn’t write a review until I got the torque wrench back. It was used for calibration. After some tests, the best I could get out of this thing with a full charge was 85-90ft-lbs.
In other words, the wrench looks like it’s made well. You also got a lot of other things with it. But unless yours is broken, don’t expect more than 90ft-lbs from this thing.
