In the middle of an important job, you don’t want to accidentally press the FORWARD-BACKWARD SWITCH on the back of your head.

Allows you to work in an engine bay without having to worry about it.

Lights on the side of the unit will show you how much power you have left.

LED lights on the front of the unit make it easier for you to see your work in low-light situations.

It has a smart chip in it that lets it talk to the M12 battery that is plugged in. This stops it from getting too much power and getting too hot, which saves it from a lot of unnecessary damage.

Batteries are not included. One Power Tool.

Choose the small ratchet that has the best power, speed, and durability in its class. In this video, we show how to use the M12 Cordless 3/8 “The Lithium-Ion Ratchet is the best tool for auto mechanics, maintenance, and repair professionals who want the best performance and productivity in a small cordless tool. This ratchet is powered by a 12-volt motor that can produce up to 35 ft-lbs of torque and 250 RPM. It gives users the power and speed of a pneumatic ratchet without the air hose. In this case, it is run by the M12 REDLITHIUM. It comes with a battery pack that can do more work per charge and more work over the pack’s life than its competitors, as well as best-in-class performance on the job site. In size and weight, the ratchet can go on your tool belt. It has a 3/4” ratchet and weighs 1.9 pounds “Work in small spaces and engine bays can be done with a low-profile head that is easy to see. The variable-speed metal trigger and the reinforced steel housing give you the most control and durability for any job.

These tools were bought between 2015 and early 2017. I have bought three of them. One had more torque than I thought it should have for something this small. These things are used all the time in a professional garage, and they are very important. Most of the time, they would last about a year or so, until either the ratchet pawl broke or the motor died. It’s true that by the time they were done, they were covered in grease and probably had been dropped a few times in the solvent tank or waste oil barrel.

As the first ratchets were replaced in mid-2017, I noticed the “new” ratchets didn’t have as much power as the older ratchets did and they broke more quickly. When I bought a new ratchet, it only worked for two months before the motor broke down. This one has been mostly used for work inside, so it’s had an easy (though short) life.

My expectations aren’t what I’d expect from such a well-known brand.

For someone who is a professional, there doesn’t seem to be a lot of choice for cordless ratchets except for the brands that make the tool trucks. My new cordless impact guns have worked well for me, so I might try their new cordless ratchet and let Milwaukee figure out what went wrong with what used to be a great tool.
