INSTRUCTIONS.
Attach the rubber backer to the variable speed angular hand grinder with a hex wrench.
Attach the Velcro loop side of the polishing pad to the Velcro loop side of the backer so that they form a tight bond.
Check to see that the pad is centered on the backer pad before proceeding. If the polishing pad is not centered properly, it will reduce the life of the polishing pad.
WHEN IT COMES TO THE BEST RESULTS AND YOUR SAFETY.
When operating the grinder, it is recommended that you wear protective eyewear and gloves. When you are operating, you should also add a small amount of water to the surface.
I did some research on this product and found out that it was good for both wet and dry sanding of concrete at the time. I purchased it primarily for the purpose of dry sanding countertops. If you have any plans to use it for dry sanding, you should look for a different product. Purchase a pair of Dewalt mesh sanders. They are significantly less expensive and perform significantly better. Although I’m sure the wet sanding with these works better than the dry sanding, when I tried to dry sand, it left black streaks all over my white countertop, which I had to remove with the dewalt sanding screen.
