This was purchased for work purposes (commercial body shop). This particular model in this price range was chosen for me because of its long stroke combined with both a feather trigger and a regulator.. AN470 rivets for box trucks, as well as ripping and shearing have all been accomplished with it thus far. It worked perfectly for this purpose. The Chicago Pneumatic 714 is my preferred air hammer for use with a controllable trigger. The trigger on the CP714 is extremely precise and controllable. When it comes to less than $100, this may be the best option if you want SOME trigger control (and by some I mean almost none) as well as a built-in regulator. If you have the means to spend more, I’d suggest you do so elsewhere.
