The Milwaukee 2680-20 M18 Cordless 4-1/2 in. Cut-off / Grinder is great for industrial users because it is fast, durable, and easy to use. The 2680-20 is made by Milwaukee and has a 4-pole motor that gives it extra power when cutting or grinding. The 2680-20 is the only cordless cut-off / grinder on the market that has a paddle switch that users like for comfort and ease of use when working in different positions. There is a good chance this isn’t a real Milwaukee grinder. It is very weak. There is a good chance this is one of the weakest grinders I have ever used ( bogs out as soon as you touch it to metal to start grinding). I have a lot of Milwaukee tools, but this doesn’t seem to be from the same company. The swivel blade protector also doesn’t work very well. It’s sloppy and the button doesn’t go back in place. Use a screwdriver to get it out of the way. People who live an hour away from a UPS store would come back.
During the past year, I only used this grinder a few times (light use). The motor died. I’m pretty sure this isn’t a real “Milwaukee” grinder.
