Spend a little more money to get a high-quality machine. When I have used the fiber drive pulley, it has been replaced twice: once when I was drilling a 1/2″ hole and then when I blew a fuse while drilling another 1/2″ hole. I wouldn’t recommend this for anything other than toy-making purposes at this time.
