Router bits that came with my Dremel tool never worked well for me. They were very dull from the start. I decided to buy the SPTA bits, but I didn’t expect much. In the past, I saw people on YouTube using bits in their Dremel and I was a little disgusted by how they were using them. My Dremel router table set up arrived today, so I gave the SPTA BITS a run for their money. I thought the SPTA bits won a blue ribbon with my eyes. Black walnut and white oak are two woods that are very different in color. I put them together and cut out small crosses. In the same way I use my bigger router to cut things, I made small cuts at a time with the SPTA. The SPTA made a very smooth cut. There was a bright spot where the bit cut through the wood. None of the bits looked worn. All of my bits are cleaned and oiled like this after they’re used. I did this with this one, too. In the videos I had seen, the person tried to cut too much at once. If people learned to make more passes and remove less wood per pass, their bits would stay sharper for longer and last longer, too. Several people said that there wasn’t a pilot bearing. This is again abuse, don’t put so much pressure on the pilot end. This is bad for the rotary tool and the bit.
