Being in construction, most of what I’ve seen has been the smaller direct drive circular saws, so I was a little apprehensive about purchasing this saw, but I must say that I’m extremely pleased with my decision to do so.
The amount of control you have over this saw is incredible, and it makes it much easier to cut straight. The additional weight isn’t a big deal—I simply pick it up and place the edge of the saw on the wood I’m cutting so that it holds the majority of the weight right at the start. A great deal of interest has been generated, and I’ve received numerous inquiries about it. It’s something I’d definitely recommend.
