INSTRUCTIONS.

1. Attach the rubber backer to the variable speed angular hand grinder with a nutdriver.

2. Attach the polishing pad’s Velcro loop side to the backer’s Velcro loop side, ensuring that they form a secure connection.

3. Ensure that the pad is centered on the backer pad before proceeding. If the polishing pad is not centered properly, it will reduce the life of the polishing pad.

In order to achieve the best results and finish when wet polishing, use a continuous flow of water at a low RPM. In addition, the polisher pad will have a longer lifespan.

Generally, polishing begins with grit 50 diamond polishing pads and is more time consuming than higher grit diamond polishing pads; grit 1500# and 3000# diamond polishing pads are less effective for smoothing out rough surfaces.

6. The lower grits are designed for use with either wet or dry conditions (50#, 100#, 200#, 400#, 800#). The higher grits (1500# and 3000#) must be used in conjunction with water in order to achieve the best results.

WHEN IT COMES TO THE BEST RESULTS AND YOUR SAFETY.

When operating the grinder, it is recommended that you wear protective eyewear and gloves. When you are operating, you should also add a small amount of water to the surface.

From Konfor, I purchased two different sets of 5″ pads – this one and another set that contained only five pads (no 1500 or 300). These pads from the 7-piece set, on the other hand, last five times as long as the other set. Although they appear to be identical, the Velcro colors are different. Even if you don’t need every pad in this set, it’s still worth it because you’ll save money in the long run.
