I purchased this and discovered the following.
DRILL – Failed after only four months. My best guess was that 28 volts would be too much for the drill. My 18-volt drills have a life span of two years.
LIGHT – It went out after two years. This device comes in handy. The replacement will be purchased by me.
The 28-volt circular saw performs significantly better than the 18-volt model.
SAWSALL – 28 volts performs significantly better than 18 volts.
It’s something I’d buy again. I’m sticking with 18-volt drills for the time being. However, the saws perform best when the voltage is 28 volts. It was well worth the money.
The best tool package I’ve ever purchased, and I’ve used everything in it. All but two of them are still functional, and the light will be replaced.
UPDAT.
I ordered a replacement light from Amazon as well as a replacement battery.
Getting the job done is still the priority.
I still prefer 28 volt saws over 18 volt saws on any given day.
In addition, the large Milwaukee stereo recharges 18- and 28-volt batteries and cranks the car engine.
