The tool is fantastic; it receives five stars. However, on the Amazon page, it states that the product comes with a full manufacturer’s warranty, which is not correct. When I attempted to have this repaired, Milwaukee informed me that they do not provide warranties for purchases made on Amazon. This seller’s false advertising needs to be updated as well.
If you already own this tool, you are still covered by the warranty, but it is based on the date that the tool was manufactured rather than the date that it was sold. You have three years from the date of manufacture, rather than the __full__ warranty that most people are used to.
Suck. No other method exists for me to leave feedback for the seller that is independent of the tool (which is great). However, this is a deceptive method of doing business.
