Following the purchase of my mortiser, I received an email informing me that the delivery address would need to be large enough to accommodate a semi-truck and that my only other option would be to pick up the item at the terminal. I was disappointed to learn that this was the case. I made the decision to pick up the unit myself. There was a significant difference between the shipping costs shown on the chart and the actual costs. Because the manufacturer was only a few more miles up the road from the 60 miles I had driven to get to the trucking company, I would have picked it up directly from the factory.
The mortiser itself was straightforward to put together. (It takes less than 45 minutes). It performs admirably and cuts a clean mortise that requires little cleanup after use. I am extremely satisfied with the product. It is a large, heavy-duty machine that is also simple to operate. I was satisfied to the point where I believe Grizzley will receive a significant increase in my business.
