(1) Granite, marble, concrete, engineered stone, terrazzo, porcelain, and quartz are among the materials that are commonly polished with water.

(2) Put on rubber gloves/boots, an apron, and safety glasses before you start working. Connect a Back Holder to the Polisher and a DAMO Wet Pad with a grit of 50 to the Back Holder to complete the process. When polishing, keep the amount of water you use under control. It is only necessary to keep the surface of the water slightly wet. Set the speed of the polishing machine to 3,000-4,000 RPM and begin the process.

(3) Using two passes across the field and one pass up and down is an effective technique. After polishing with each grit pad, make sure to wipe the working surface down with a wet towel to remove any remaining polish. This will prevent any leftover polishing particles from getting into the next grit pad and scratching the surface of the polishing compound. Before moving on to the next grit, double-check that all previous scratches have been removed. Continue in this manner until you reach grit 800.

(4) Turn off the water supply on grits 1500 and 3000 by pressing the button. Using a small amount of water, lightly wet the surface. Polishing with grit 1500 until the area you’re working on is completely dry is the next step. Wet the material once more with a small amount of water and continue polishing with grit 3000 until the high gloss and luster of the material is achieved.

(5) Polish with grits ranging from 50 to 3000, respectively. Do not skip a beat.

In order to achieve the best polishing results on granite, the Buff Pad should be used as the final step. Wet the workpiece and use a very small amount of water to run the Buff Pad semi-wet over it. The process is complete once all of the water has been consumed. It may be necessary to repeat the process in order to improve the luster and achieve the desired mirror effect.

There are a plethora of these pads available for purchase, making it difficult to determine which is the best. It is recommended that you use these pads. They have a long life expectancy. This will almost certainly be a repeat item.
