It can be used with Bosch 4000 10-inch table saws, which are made by the manufacturer.

This Bosch TS1004 Table Saw Dust Collector Bag can collect up to 70% of the dust. For model number 4000, a 10-inch table saw.

DeWalt’s compact jobsite table saw is where I’m currently using this. I didn’t need any other tools to attach this to it. You can use a rubber band and a disposable contractor’s trash bag to clean up after cutting wood. Before you bought this, I didn’t want to connect a vacuum and turn it on every time I cut across a 3″ wide piece of wood floor. You don’t need a shop vac to use this collector bag. Even without air power, it works very well. If you are using a saw blade and your throat plate has a lot of space, this could be very efficient. When I’m cutting, I use a Freud 10″ combination rip/cross blade with 50 teeth, and I’m using a throat plate that came with my table saw. There are more teeth on your blade, which means that the smaller the particles of dust are. The smaller the throat plate opening, the less likely it is that dust will come back up from the base of the saw while it is moving. A big part of this is the bag itself. Very strong, with a very high thread count, but it’s very airy. I tried to blow into the opening as hard as I could, but the bag didn’t move at all. When the air moves freely, it doesn’t push the dust up to your face. There is nothing for the dust to land on, which stops it from getting stuck near the opening. When I tried clapping my hands with the bag 1/3 full of sawdust, no sawdust came out through the fabric. That is great. As a side note: The height of this bag happens to be just right. It’s also at the same height as a port on your table saw and the ground, so it doesn’t sag or hang. The bottom just fits right into the ground.
