When it comes to performance, the HUT3570 Industrial sander does not disappoint. It is constructed with legendary Hutchins quality, and it will continue to deliver high-quality surface preparation results long after other sanders have given up the ghost. Instead of being replaced after a short period of time, Hutchins products are built to last a lifetime and are simple to maintain so that they continue to perform at their highest levels.
I purchased two of these sanders. One is in perfect working order. After 5 months, the other stopped working as well. I paid for the return shipping to Hutchins. My service technicians informed me that there was moisture in the machine, and that I also had moisture in my air lines. I informed them that I have three other sanders, one Hutchins, one Dewalt, and one Dynabrade, all of which are in perfect working order. In addition, I have an air dryer. The line is relatively uninteresting. They informed me that my sanding area needed to be separated from the drying area. It’s only about 20 feet away. I also invited them to come to the shop and look over my set up for themselves. They never did, and I was given a quote to repair it. The cost was the same as purchasing a new machine, or two Dewalts combined. I attempted to work with them and inquired as to whether they would be willing to give me a discount on the repair. After all, because I deal with customers on a daily basis in my wood shop, I am familiar with and understand their experiences. Despite my repeated pleas, they refused to budge or offer me a better deal on the repair. It sands beautifully, and I appreciate the fact that it is made in the United States. However, I do not believe they stand by their product very well. The other one I purchased is still in good working order.
