The product was purchased to mix some drywall compound, and it performs flawlessly and efficiently, mixing up the drywall in under half a minute for a full five gallon bucket of compound. Any construction type compound should be mixed in a large batch with a VSR drill and these types of mixing paddles, which should be done with a VSR. If you’re only mixing a small amount for patching, a regular drill will do the trick just fine.
